Geniune SUZO-HAPP Joysticks & Non Branded HAPP "Style" Joysticks

Posted by Austin Amusements on

Hi All,

Well this week we have received questions for three different customers regarding the Suzo Happ joysticks we sell, why our price is higher than other sellers and asking if the joysticks we sell are genuine. To hopefully help everyone out when buying online from us or other sellers we have written a short description of what to look for when purchasing Geniune Suzo Happ ULTIMATE Joysticks. Note, we do not have pictures of Compatition Happ Joysticks as we do not sell them BUT even without photos of them we can tell you what to look for.

Are the Suzo Happ Joysticks we sell Authentic?

The HAPP joysticks that we sell are GENIUNE Suzo HAPP branded products, straight from the manufacture. We do sell other brands and generic bat joysticks that look similer to HAPP joysticks but are noticible different. These joysticks are listed with the brand they are or simply as a Bat joystick. We do also have Happ copy or re-makes written on non-HAPP branded joysticks. These are NON HAPP Brand joysticks, they are copies or re-makes.

Now don't get me wrong, non brand HAPP joysticks are still in most cases ok to good quality but the price is lower and authentic HAPP products have better quality microswitches.

What to look for when purchasing online or once you receive your joystick:

HAPP Ultimate and Compatition Joysticks at the time of writting this blog post do not have leavers on the microswitches. The microswitches are basically the same as button microswitches.

Currently this is what a HAPP Ultimarc Joystick looks like-

Below you will see an image of three joystick bases. One is a HAPP Joystick and the other two are not. The two joystick at the top of the photo have silver metal leavers to activate the microswitch. Note Happ Ultimate and Compatition joysticks DO NOT HAVE THESE. Another sign is the plastic hole for the joystick shaft. Note the difference with the Happ Ultimate Joystick to the other two

The Bat Joystick Shaft:

Unfortunitly we can not show a HAPP Joystick Compatition shalf as we do not stockm them but the top black shaft in the image below is similar but still slightly different. Compatition shafts are thicker than Ultimate shafts. The Happ Ultimate Joystick shaft is the blue shaft in the photo. The other two are non-HAPP brands.
